Rumah Sakit Columbia Asia Semarang is located in Semarang, a city on the north coast of Java, Indonesia. Situated alongside an important vehicular thoroughfare in the city as well as being in proximity to the Semarang airport, the building was designed to address the 2 arterial road it fronts as well as to maximise on the visibility from the airport. The 3-storey building of 113 beds with a basement floor is built on a tight 1.9 acres site. With effective space planning, it managed to accommodate the entire medical programme brief within a gross floor area of 14,400 sq.m.
