Completed in 2019, this 147-bedded community hospital is located along the main arterial road leading to the city of Johor Bahru, the capital city of the southernmost tip of Peninsular Malaysia bordering Singapore. This hospital marks the first of the series of larger Columbia Asia hospitals developed from their prototype design. The new prototype, at the same time, can cater to the increasing demand from the locals as well as the Singaporean and Indonesian market. The strategic location, as well as the elevated site, provided EDP with the added advantage to design an imposing and iconic building befitting a flagship hospital.
