8 years after completion of the Columbia Asia Iskandar Putri medical centre, the client commissioned EDP to design the extension comprising of a new Cardiology Department, Outpatient clinics and an additional 111 bedded wards. The new extension is linked to the existing medical centre by a new double-storey bridge that provides smooth transition of patients and services between the Outpatient clinics as well as the wards at upper level.
